Turfsigns Printing Process:
Here at Turfsigns.com we print the signs at our 40,000 square foot facility.
Our process starts with the design of your signs. Our team of graphic designers will take your logo and design a custom die cut sign around your logo. We like to make your name and your phone no. as large as possible. We want to make sure when you treat a property that your brand will stand out above your competitors. These signs are very colorful. We design them so that your customers and your customers neighbors notice that you have treated there property. After you okay the design and sign off on a proof, thats when our prepress department goes over the artwork file with our graphics team. We make sure that there is no issues with your art and a second set of eyes check out the sign art. After that is done he puts them on a press run. We run the signs 8 up on a 23×35 sheet. To save you money on your order we run 8 different customers at once to share the plate and setup charge. We do this to save you money on your signs. All 8 of the customers are on the sheet. The paper we use is a 20pt poly board. We print full color and our press also uv coats the signs as it prints them. We are the only sign company that does this process in house. The owner John Disbrow has been printing since 1986, he checks all orders for quality control. We usually run about 5,500 sheets on the run to ensure we have enough signs. It takes about 4 hours to print 40,000 signs. After they are printed they go to the die cutting department. The dies are made of metal and cut the signs at about 3000 sheets per hour. After they are die cut we box them in 500 per box cartons. Next we pack the signs and stakes on a skid and the trucking company will pick them up and deliver anywhere in the US and Canada. Pricing is usually under 250.00 for shipping in US. We here at Turfsigns gurarantee customer satisfaction. We can afford to do this because we are the printer. We control the printing process and we have the ability to control the quality of your signs.
